Ain't That Peculiar

Pop, Rock, Comedy, Soul, Funk and R&B

From 8:00 to 9:00 PM, you will hear pop & rock from the 60s until the present. Sometimes Glen plays sets of songs built around a theme--including horrible covers of Beatles songs, Schoolhouse Rock songs, "Gender Benders" (songs originally performed or made famous by an artist of one gender, covered by an artist of the opposite gender), songs about superheroes and villains, songs about Iowa, disco songs by non-disco artists, and horrible Christmas songs. From 9:00 to 9:30 PM, you will hear pre-recorded comedy built on one or more themes. You will hear sketch comedy (such as Monty Python, National Lampoon, etc.), stand-up comedy (such as Woody Allen, Steve Martin, etc.), comedy readings (such as David Sedaris), and comedy songs (such as Tom Lehrer, Flanders & Swann, etc.). From 9:30 to 10:00 PM, you will hear more of the same kind of music that you heard from 8:00 to 9:00 PM.
