Today's show has a musical range that should make you all but blush. The artists you hear today are pounding at the gate of human yearning. In some countries (Pucallpa, especially) you can trade tunes in for fine luxury goods such as a baby ocelot. A trickle of vintage, a splash of communicative utility, and some revelatory japes. It's as much fun as Jesus on a Pogo stick. But sometimes an exodus needs no explanation. So let out an open-throated warble, try not to spoil your trousers and enjoy.
So it's 20 minutes before the show and staying true to the non-enforced rules of KRUU blogging, I'm posting my blog moments before showtime.
Today is Awesome, like Cream Soda and a cookie from the heart, The Pulse is full of remix-ed deliciousness.
Two Daft Punk remixes were carried by stork and delivered to my doorstep this week and i'm featuring a new EP by a band named Stateless,
All this'll be dropping in about 15. Get off your gadunkadunks and let the music shake your trunk.
Peace ya'll!!
Clear!! An implantable pulse generating telemetric circuit for expanded audio listening pleasure will be lodged into listeners brains today at the new time of 7PM. Today's theme will be reminiscent of a mass of 747's all taking off at the same time, (look left for imagery) Be part of the fortune few to be jolted back into a new aural existence!
We have a Pulse....
Link of the week...www.everyoneforever.com
It's not quite the French national holiday, Fête de la Fédération, we're still under a month away from the Celebration of the French storming of Bastille. I'm not usually a proponent for war, but... if this hadn't've happened such treasures would of been absent from our lives, namely the art of Monet, Chèvre Cheese, Croissants and The Kitsuné Maison Record Label, just to mention a few.
Today, The resurging French electronic music scene is down to a select few labels, the big ones being "Kitsuné Maison" and "Ed Banger Records". Kitsuné feeds the big clubs while Ed Banger pushes new, young French artists. I'll be featuring 4 tracks of the Kitsuné Maison Label.
Be sure to catch The Pulse at 6PM CST to say "Bonjour" to these hopping tunes.
So this track "So Glad to see you" by Hot Chip off the Album "The Warning" has given me oodles of aural pleasure this week. There something about it that just makes the life inside me so big that I can't seem to contain myself when I hear it, akin to my front row experience at NKOTB concerts circa 1988. So if your feeling like you need an uplifting lufftwaffe like feeling, check out "The Pulse" around the 44 minute mark for some happy happy joy joy. Nick
I've been exposed to some new bands recently and am happy to debut today @ 6pm on The Pulse, the 2001 one-hit-wonder, "Stralight" by Supermen Lovers a french super hero duo that took Europe by storm with 8 #1's but were unfortunate in not being able to puddle jump across for our aural pleasure in the grand olde US of A. So if your wanting to have a quick listen to the play of pardox and a funk structure that begs to be danced to, then tune in today at 6pmword.
