Tonight's show will feature segments from live dj sets by Mr. Scruff and Kenneth Scott.
Many folks may be familiar with Mr. Scruff from his musical productions yet his marathon live dj sets (often exceeding 6 hours) are somewhat different. His eclectic live sets span a vast universe of genres -- afro-cuban, hip hop, funk, soul, jazz and beyond. Kenneth Scott's musical productions have been described as an active resurrection of the melodies surrendered in the great minimal techno takeover. The results are unique...and rad. This energized live dj set of Kenneth's contains essential elements of straight forward house and techno, resulting in a groovy good time. I've personally been enjoying both of these sets from Mr. Scruff and Kenneth Scott and felt it was a good time to share.
