Fri Feb 8th @ 12:30 p.m. The Filmosophers movie talk show
It's the Filmosopher's movie talk show, with Chris Busch and Bruce Miller. February is
not an exciting month for new releases, but hold on for another week local film fans- Atonement is booked for the Co-Ed next Friday, February 15th. We'll tell you about 8 flicks that could be great in 2008. You'll hear about today's new releases in theaters and our reviews of films we've seen this week.
The DVD of the Week is very special to us: Across The Universe. We'd like to note the Divine symmetry: For the first time ever, NASA beamed a song -- The Beatles' "Across
the Universe" directly into deep space at 7 p.m. EST on Feb. 4. According to a statement from NASA, the transmission was aimed at
the North Star, Polaris, which is 431 light years away from earth. The
song is traveling Across the Universe at a speed of 186,000 miles per
second. "Jai Guru Deva....Om...nothing's gonna change my
world....."
