Life in Theater
Hey everybody! I hope you had a chance to listen to our live broadcast on Tuesday last! It was great fun getting up early and going into the studio but not fun enough to consider doing it on an ongoing basis. Though James keeps asking us to! Our schedules at this time would not allow this but we're considering going maybe 2 or 3 mornings a week next fall...what do you think? Let us know if you would like to hear us live on the radio and if you could stand hearing us every morning...I'd like to know. Well that certainly was off the subject as today's blog was to be about Theater! A funny thing happened to me on the way out of the theater on opening night...I fell off the stage! Well, not the stage exactly the stairs that lead off the stage but I did fall right into the pit. Well, not into the pit exactly, I fell into the the post holding the fence running around the pit into the back of the guitarist chair. He said he hadn't had a woman fall that hard for him in a long time! Funny guy! I will have you know I jumped right up though. Well, it really wasn't a jump more like crawling but I got up! And I didn't hurt anything but a spot on my forehead where it met the post and the hand I caught the fall on...my left hand which is the one I use the least so all is good. I could still lift the wine glass offered at the post opening night gathering! Isn't life exciting? You just never know when gravity will drag you down and slam you to the concrete...so eat dessert first!
