We knew that the "Celebrate Fairfield" banners which feature original paintings by local artists were going to "blow" people away but we never guessed that the banners themselves might be "blown away"! But that is exactly what happened over this past weekend when one of the newly hung banners was literally blown off of the bracket by the gusting winds. The Fairfield Beautification Commission is asking citizen's to keep an eye out for the missing banners and should it be found taken to Fairfiled City Hall.
