OK, here we go with a serious old school look at popular soul music. Probably the identifying factor of this show is my spinning of records I would normally not play on the radio. There was a time when I could listen to the radio and find some measure of satisfaction, but today it is impossibly difficult. These songs go back a few years. Most were 'on the radio'. I have two songs by Bill Withers. I am playing the long version of 'Papa Was A Rolling Stone' by The Temptations.
