James Moore speaks with Matt Ohloff of Food & Water Watch, Iowa-based Midwest coordinator, and Ken Roseboro, editor of The Organic & Non-GMO Report about a local campaign for GMO labeling.
Food & Water Watch presents a meeting Wednesday, August 8 at 7:00 pm at the
Fairfield Public Library to inform people about the issue of labeling for genetically modified foods and to spur action to demand the right to know what we are eating.
"There is unprecedented grass roots activity to label GM foods in the US with a labeling law on the ballot in California and 20 states introducing bills to label GM foods," says Roseboro. This meeting is for those interested in taking action and making a difference on this issue, from the city level all the way up to the U.S. Congress, to protect consumers by supporting labeling for GM food, he adds.
