Attorney Loren Collins talks about "Bullspotting" & Joel Gilbert's "Dreams"

IS OBAMA A COMMIE CON?

James Moore talks with Atlanta attorney Loren Collins, author of BULLSPOTTING: Finding Facts in the Age of Misinformation, about the DVD called "Dreams of My Real Father" by Joel Gilbert whose film is showing this weekend in Fairfield, calling it complete "bunk."

The premise? Obama is the son of card carrying communist/poet Frank Marshall Davis. According to Collins, the films assertions do not hold up to simple scrutiny. The alleged racy picture of Obama's mother, which Gilbert claims was taken by Davis in Hawaii as evidence of their intimacy, Collins found in a magazine dated 1958--more than two years before her family even moved to Hawaii!! Collin's website barackcryphal has the breakdown in clear detail.

It's received little comment from media and has screened at only six places in the past two months, according to Gilbert's official website. But perhaps flying under the radar means it will have a little explosion in key swing states just in the run up to the election, begging the age-old question: When money talks is it impolite for facts to interrupt?
