Hey, the opening song Let My People Go by Diamanda Galas you played last week was very unique! Was surprised to know her sun sign is Virgo.

Yes, thank you....isn't she amazing!! But did you listen to the rest of the show? That first song may have been the last fleeting moment of almost normalcy.

Did listen to the rest of the show. Yes, Let My People Go was the hook with which you reeled us in! Well you took us on a journey of unchartered waters, at least for me!

Diamanda is described as "capable of the most unnerving vocal terror". She has her roots in Jazz and Classical and read that Ornette Coleman was a major influence, who always broke the rules of Jazz and pioneered Free Jazz. Her rising sign must be Aquarius. Aquarians simply CANNOT do what everyone else do.

Not the most adventurous, so maybe once in a while can listen to Diamanda, when I want to break the cycle of Jazz, Blues and Rock.

Live or not it is still great to hear your voice. Your show has an irresistable calming effect. But not quite as irresistable as you.......

disparaging comments

You said the lyrics to "Circle" don't make any sense. Sorry, but you're like totally wrong. Clearly this song is offers a passing look at the futility of worldly existence, action/reaction, karma, et cetera. The fact that the lyrics are pathetic and offer only a cursory glance at these concepts hardly renders them "meaningless". Get a clue, Miss Roxy Blue. :)

Oh boy!!.....a comment from my tyranical brother in disguise..(busted!) Yes John, I put my foot in my mouth with that announcement, realizing that the song has a great deal of meaning to me.....but it would have been exhaustively difficult to quickly explain on my show. However, considering all my listeners (other than John) surely have a highly refined sense of intelligence, I should have felt more free to do so. ha ha ha haaaaaaaa!!!!
