2 LIVE REMOTE BROADCASTS This Weekend from the ARTWALK & FIREWORKS!!
Thanks to everybody for making the KRUU sound stage such a success Friday at the pARTy in the park. Sweet commando teamwork. Bus looked nice out there, too. The bands were fantastic. The music flow was excellent, the Americana vibe perfect for the 4th weekend. The reception very positive from those enjoying the evening's events.
It was another good night all the way around and a perfect way to celebrate KRUU-FM's 3rd year anniversary tower raising. Thanks be to Dwight Harris!!!
Even though, due to weather conditions, the stage ended up being 'neath the gazebo (which i don't like for sound, lighting, visual and ability for bands to connect with audience reasons), everything held together really well soundwise (thanks, roland), live broadcast-wise (thanks, caleb for hookup & LISCO, joel and corey for deejay helming), canopy over the mixing board-wise (thanks, martha norbeck), set up-wise (thanks joel, corey and campbell hair), band-wise (amazing thanks to She Swings, She Sways; Truckstop Souvenir (dennis & lauryn); Steve McLain & Jeffco Green Band; Rockabilly Bobcats with george foster and bob reeder), rad red fire truck and stage support-wise (thanks campbell), artwalk-wise (thanks terry baker, rustin lippincott, melissa muir, et al, vendors and pie contest winners) and tear down-wise (thanks roland, dan walker, campbell, james)
