- Obvious World - 20080113 - beautiful eternal releases

There are now 12 releases from Beautiful Eternal, even though the netlabel is officially less than two weeks old. Come bear witness to this rapidly expanding catalogue and bask in the warmth of the very first KRUU-inspired netlabel. See for yourself what can be accomplished in the spirit of CREATIVE COMMONS!
The new netlabel Beautiful Eternal is the product of a year's worth of education from Sundar Raman and James Moore about just how cool a tool Creative Commons (CC) actually is...I've been producing ambient and tribal electronic music for 14 years and even began my own "traditional" record label 10 years ago, but now the netlabel model with CC at its foundation is clearly the next stage of evolution.
For more info about netlabels, visit this wikipedia entry, and for more info on CC and free-culture movements check out Sundar's show on Tuesdays from 7-8pm and James' open source early morning show daily @ 5 am.
This Sunday night [January 13th, 2008] I'll be airing 3 new releases from Beautiful Eternal: Opus 1 [B.E.#00004], Mythical Proportions [B.E.#00005], and Palindromic Number [B.E.#00011]. The music will range from uplifting and beautiful ambient music to fantastically funny and humorous electronica to down-to-earth tekno.
For a firsthand experience of what KRUU-inspired CC music sounds like, check out my broadcast of original compositions on Sunday nights @ 10 pm central time -- on your radio or on the internet -- its all about KRUU lp 100.1 fm
