February 2nd- Happy Birthday Texas Ted Burghoff! Ted and I met in a Science of Creative Intelligence class at MIU in January 1975. Since then he has been one of Pirate Satellite's biggest supporters. Ted recently asked for another copy of the 1995 Pirate Satellite compilation "Very Blue Light-ish". We'll honor Teddy today by playing songs from that compilation. It features music by Roger Eno, Higher Intelligence Agency, William Orbit, Deep Forest, Moby, Banco De Gaia and more. It's music from the mid-90's electronic ambient pioneers, dedicated to a Beloved friend. Enjoy!
