mobygrape.comOne of the lesser known jam bands from the late 1960s was Moby Grape (photos) with their distinctive West Coast sound flamobygrape.comvored with blues, folk, and rock influences.

Their triple guitar arrangements were an special delight to concert goers. Early in this week's show, you will hear a nine-minute bonus blues track entitled, "Grape Jam #2".

Paul Kantner and Jefferson Airplane will share an alternate lyrics version of "Let's Go Together" that originallly appeared on "Blows Against the Empire." Frequent Kantner collaborator, David Crosby, will round out the set with some seldom heard tracks from the CD collection, "The David Crosby Box."

DJ Andy Bargerstock will prop up the middle portion of the program with 3X3 sets from Steve Winwood's new CD (Nine Lives), Grace Potter & the Nocturnals (Nothing But the Water), and Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova (The Swell Season), the last duo has been collaborating since she was 13...... listen closely to hear the story about these Academy Award winners from the soundtrack to the film, "Once."

Then, just to keep your eyes on the future of music, DJ Andy will offer up another extended set of leading edge, late night swoon songs from such diverse groups as Yeasayer, Bliss, Cargo Cult, Witchcraft, and Sounds from the Ground.
