currently, i am looking at the mountains in Boulder, CO. a welcome change from the suburbs and concrete jungle of Houston….

it’s also been almost a year since our Ethiopian Exodus. remember that? so my African travel companion, Missy Misdemeanor, and I have been rehashing the adventures- with the riddumz.
last year around this time, we were dancing in Mescal Square- in Addis- on the Millennium- while a mini bus blared “Ganja Planter” and we all skanked and raged til’ the wee hours. those were the times.

why not play a few memories eh? so i’ve pulled out some of these beloved tracks. there are also some new things that have never before been played on Crucial Roots. then there are a few supah roots tracks like Issa Bagayogo’s latest single. and in case you hadn’t realized that Teddy Afro is now a qualified political prisoner, i’ve attached a link to a “Free Teddy” petition. spread the love.
