"Real Food Revival" author Vinton on Writers' Voices, Friday 1 pm

A cross-country motorcycle tour brought Sherri Brooks Vinton face-to-face with the negative impacts of industrial agriculture and compelled her to trade in her career as a dot.com executive to begin a quest for food raised with integrity. Her first book, The Real Food Revival: Aisle by Aisle, Morsel by Morsel,(Tarcher/Penguin) is a result of that search and offers practical tips for eaters who, like herself, want a more delicious, sustainable future. The Real Food Revival was a Publisher’s Weekly Starred Selection and was nominated for the 2005 “Books for a Better Life” award.
