It was early June
The Chattanooga sky was red
The sun was falling down
~ Hallelujah Rose, Annie Wenz
It's a little hard to know where to start when trying to describe the amazing Annie Wenz. To name just a few, in no particular order, Annie is a biker chick, yoga instructor, RN, songwriting teacher, percussionist, world traveler, and activist. Also a multi-instrumentalist, Annie's honeyed voice is just as at home in a rockin' bluesy number as it is with a sparse and sweet piano ballad. Her brand new, Ride The Sky, is Annie's first lyrical album in many years, her next most recent previous release being an instrumental world journey via indigenous flutes from a variety of cultures.

Have you no song child?
Come rest your head upon my knee
~ Runaround, Coyote Grace
The dynamic duo Coyote Grace is taking the folk world by storm these days, opening for the likes of The Indigo Girls and Girlyman. Joe Stevens & Ingrid Elizabeth are returning to Fairfield on November 14th to rock Cafe Paradiso with their sweet harmonies, visually rich lyrics, and bluesy, rollicking rhythms.
Join me Tuesday, November 9th from 9-10am Central for interviews with Annie (9:00) and Ingrid (9:30)!
