You may not know his name but you do know his songs and his lyrics. Many of which have been made famous by the likes of The Eagles, Linda Ronstadt and others. Songs like  Best of My Love (above), Heartache Tonight, Sad Cafe, White Rhythm and Blues, New Kid In Town and Silver Blue. Souther is an accomplished L.A. session musician with a silky smooth voice that he has showcased on four critical acclaimed, solo albums.  I'll be playing various iterations of his songs including covers by others, unplugged acoustic versions by JD himself, a duet with James Taylor and more!  We'll also hear the usual Roots Rock Roadhouse gems from additional artists like Jason Spooner, Edie Brickell, Kasey Chambers, Jimmy LaFave, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Donna and the Buffalo, Robben Ford, Harry Manx and Kevin Breit.
