Highlighting Film Music Great Bernard Herrmann Thur July 12 9am

Join me as I honor my favorite and one of the greatest film music composers of the twentieth century, Bernard Herrmann.
Herrmann was a "master at evoking psychological nuance and dramatic tension through music, often using unheard-of instrumental combinations to suit the dramatic needs of a film. His scores are among the most distinguished ever written."

I will highlight excerpts from his memorably chilling score Psycho, the suspense & romance of North By Northwest, Vertigo, the Sci Fi classic The Day The Earth Stood Still, the fantasy adventure 7th Voyage of Sinbad and more.

Tune in for an unforgettable Listening to the Movies experience. Thursday, July 12 9am.
