Brief Bio

I like a very wide range of music and have split my show on KRUU into Dance and Alternative/Eclectic on alternate weeks to reflect that.

On the dance front, I've been DJ'ing for a while, playing private and public parties with a wide range of dance from current house, hip-hop, and r&b. These typically include both hits and tracks you probably haven't heard that have sick beats. I also play tracks from the 80's and further retro to 70's and 60's dance hits.

I've done a number of specialty mixes for themed parties-Valentine's day lovers mix, italian mix, beach mix, Halloween, etc. I like doing those because its a challenge finding good dance music that fits the theme and mixes well. Typically I listen to 10 or more dance tunes for every one I select to play.

On the Alternative/Eclectic front my range of musical interest is extraordinarily wide-Alternative rock, rock, jazz, blues, metal, nu-metal, r&b, hip-hop/rap, reggae, classical, world, country. I was thrilled when the station started so I could share some of this music with others. My show is more focused on Alternative Rock (maybe 60%) as that is the music I currently listen to most. I will still throw in gems from all the other genres.
